Well, you saw his Zeroth Birthday, and his first..so here's his Second, October 1, 2006.

He started singing "Happy Birthday" about a week ago, and keeps asking for "Happy Birfday Cake" over and over (Lyd got him some mini-cup cakes Thursday for his Early Learning Center party).  He was definitely primed and ready to go.  At two-thirty we woke him up form his nap just in time to regain his composure and gear up for party to start at three o'clock.

After a loud round of "Happy Birthday to Jake" and him claiming that he was actually three (one step closer to a driver's license) Jake finally admitted that he was only "TWO!" so we let him cut the cake.

Now that is trust!  Head in the lion's mouth so to speak!

Now it's time to collect the booty!

And the dreaded Binky reappears.

While Mommy attests to the benefits of new clothes on the birthday, she is largely ignored by the male population, in favor of a top, which turned out to be tops!

Books?  Well Jake likes books, but they rarely pull him form his toys!  Maybe around bedtime.

Now for the BIG DEAL!

Mason gives Jaker a start, just to get him used to the new implement.  It's not plastic....no...CAST IRON!  Yessir!  You can do some serious damage with that!

Now he's got the swing of it...motivating on his own....

"Hey' that wasn't even CLOSE!"  Yeah right.

Now on to the BIG project, his new play center!  The biggest Baddest play set will go up right out back!  It was delivered just in time but still needs to be set up!

Three slides, an double level observation deck, all kinds of swings and ropes...it really ought to come with a free ambulance plan ;^P
